Consignment Information

All consignment is taken by appointment only. Please review the Current Consigning Info page to check our current schedule.

No drop ins allowed.
We hold SEASONAL appointment blocks for the 4 individual seasons. SPRING, SUMMER, FALL + WINTER. see schedule below
No out of season items will be accepted.
Consignment appointments are typically 10-15 minutes. You may wait in/outside the store while we review your items. We will give back anything we aren’t interested in!
Consignors may bring a limited amount of clothing, accessories and additional items as noted below. We will NOT review an excessive amount OR out of season items.
All items must be in great condition and ready to wear.
To make your consigning experience the best it can be, take the time to inspect your items for damage and wear at home. This includes shoes, toys, and gear.

The better the condition of an item, the more likely it will sell.

We will not accept items that are wrinkled, stained, lint/pet hair laden, damaged or missing elements.
Prices are determined by our knowledgeable staff and are non-negotiable.
All items should be brought to the store in a handled bag, box or bin. We will not review items brought in garbage bags

WHAT WE ACCEPT:

CHILDRENS apparel (2015 to current)

maximum of 25 clothing + 12 misc. clothing per appointment

clothing sizes 0 months thru 14 years

misc. clothing: shoes/boots, hats, tights, belts, ties, dance + gymnastics, etc.

Maternity + Nursing (2016 to current)

maximum of 20 clothing + 5 misc. clothing per appointment

clothing sizes XS - XXL (must be maternity brand/label)

misc. clothing: nursing covers, maternity undergarments & support wear, etc.

we DO NOT accept breast pumps or pump accessories

Baby GEAR - items you put baby in ! (2011 to current)

maximum of 3 gear items per appointment

nursing pillows, strollers, high chairs, floor seats, bouncers, baby carriers, hiking carriers, co-sleepers, pack n plays,

portable bassinets, travel seats, activity gyms, walkers, yard gates, etc.

we DO NOT accept furniture, décor, bedding or car seats

Baby CARE- items used for baby! (2011 to current)

maximum of 5 baby care items per appointment

swaddles / sacks, gates, cloth diapers, bottles, utensils, home safety, video/audio monitors,

bibs, diaper bags, pacifiers, bed rails, sound/noise machines etc.

Books

maximum of 10 books per appointment

Picture/Board Books (0-5yrs), Early readers (5-7 yrs), Young readers/Chapter(7-12yrs)

pregnancy, parenting, nursing books etc.

Toys

maximum of 5 toys / 5 puzzles + 3 games per appointment

wooden toys, infant/toddler sensory & learning toys (Fisher Price, Little Tikes etc.),

puzzles, ride on toys, push toys, board games, arts/crafts, dolls, action figures etc.

replacement batteries $1 per battery
$5+ cleaning fee for gear, goods, toys or items that come in dirty

NO vintage accepted.

What

Your items will be inventoried and displayed for 60 days.
- Depending on current stock levels, we may hold your merchandise for up to 10 days before it is inventoried.
- An ITEM LIST email is sent to you when items are entered, priced and displayed. Consignment term begins with the date of your email.
- Items found to be in less that great condition at the time of inventory will be subject to donation without notice to the consignor.
40% of the clothing/accessories/gear SOLD during your consignment period is yours.
- selling prices are determined by our knowledgeable staff and are non-negotiable.
- Prices may be reduced by 30% or more after 15 days depending on fluctuating demand or be discounted during 'category discounts' (i.e. jean's sale), store events and end of season sales.
PICK UP OF UNSOLD ITEMS IS NOT ALLOWED, unless specifically arranged at the time of consignment AND
- is explicitly LIMITED to high end items reselling for $30+ in the store.
Unsold items at the end of a consignment term are considered EXPIRED and become property of Apple of My Eye.
- Expired items may be sold as such or donated to MassAppeal Int'l at the discretion of the store.
- Year end donation receipts are available upon request.

Payment is available as store credit or by check payout

Balances are payable within 12 months -or- used as store credit within 24 months from last account activity.
Use your balance in store!
- your consignment dollar -stretches- about an additional 15% - in the form of a discount on your purchases.
Request a check payout.
- Checks are issued bi-monthly on the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of the month.
- checks are issued by request only and paid in the appropriate check run that occurs after their 60 day expiration date.
- Balances less than $20 can be used as store credit, paid in cash or kept on account to be rolled into future consignment balances.
- Checks over $50 are mailed free of charge to the address on file. Checks under $50 are available for pickup at the store or mailed for a .75 supply fee.
- No early check payouts are issued.
